Hi, I'm Zekai!
Whether we’ve met in person or not, it’s wonderful to have you here.

Throughout my life, I’ve been on a constant search for truth: in science, in consumer behavior, in myself and my passions, and in abstract ideas like modern art, social connection, and loneliness. Looking back, the thread connecting them all is human emotion. I’m drawn to our feelings because they sit right at the intersection of logic and impulse. The deeper I look, the more complex it all becomes—yet there is a quiet beauty in navigating that complexity and piecing together the puzzle of who we are. A true rabbit hole. Perhaps my journey to find truth has everything to do with living between two languages. Chinese is poetic and evocative. Words don't always need a rigid, linear structure as long as they paint a picture—it’s like speaking directly through a stream of consciousness. That fluid mindset profoundly shapes how I think. English, on the other hand, demands precision. Logic, structure, and deliberate word choice take center stage to create clarity. There are two forces constantly at play in my head: using Chinese to paint a wonderland, and using English to decipher what it means. I find this tension fascinating, and I often live in the space between lyrical expression and pure rationalism—searching for a kind of poetic truth.

Through continuous action and reflection, I’ve gained clarity on my ambitions, my courage, and my deeper motives. At the same time, I’ve come to accept that the search for truth never truly ends. I hold a stubborn belief that everything remains in motion as society progresses, and as we grow both as individuals and as a species. That realization is my greatest source of energy. It keeps me observing, thinking, and evolving.

To anyone also searching for truth—striving to understand not just yourself, but the world and who we are as humans at our core—you are pursuing something rare and deeply meaningful. I hope you keep going, fearlessly and with passion.
